Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous Night Gamblers

How to fix Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Night Gamblers

A number of players have reported problems with the Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Night Gamblers quest trigger and how it doesn’t appear to be working for them — or, that Sosiel and his gambling friends simply don’t appear at the marked location. The problem appears to be with the Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Night Gamblers not triggering so the mission can’t be completed. Here’s how to fix the Night Gamblers quest.

To trigger the Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Night Gamblers quest and fix Sosiel not appearing follow these steps:

  1. Stand next to Sosiel in the Citadel and skip time to past midnight, around 12:30 AM to start with, and hopefully he’ll have disappeared. Head to the graveyard in the bottom left of the Drezen map. If Sosiel and friends aren’t there, trying skipping forward 30 minutes at a time. Some players have reported them only appearing around 2 AM.
  2. If they still haven’t spawned, save the game near the graveyard between 11 PM and 3 AM in-game time, then close the game and reload that save game. This should finally trigger the Night Gamblers event.
  3. Repeat these steps if the quest doesn’t trigger immediately, as some players report it takes multiple tries for Sosiel to appear in the graveyard.

After this and once the gamblers have finally spawned in the graveyard, simply approach the group and a cutscene will start. There’s a dialogue option, but the quest will complete the same either way. Once it finally works, Night Gamblers is one of the easiest quests in the game, so these steps should hopefully sort everything out now.

A far more troublesome quest, in terms of complication, is the Color Gem puzzle maze, so here’s how to complete that quest. Finally, is the new Pathfinder coming to the Nintendo Switch platform?
