There are plenty of things to find and do in Outriders, the new co-op shooter from the creators of Bulletstorm and Gears Of War: Judgment, and finding armor mods such as the Outriders Captain Hunter mod is something players will need to do quickly. For those who want to stand any chance against some of the toughest enemies in the game, tracking down some of the best armor mods should be a priority. There are many to choose from, but the Outriders Captain Hunter Tier 3 mod is one of the best to use against Elites.
Where to find the Outriders Captain Hunter mod
The Outriders Captain Hunter mod can only be found on the Outriders Gauntlets of the Cannonball legendary armor, as part of the useful Outriders Cannonball set.
The Gauntlets of the Cannonball armor can be found at vendors, legendary chests, or if you’re very lucky, loot drops from enemies.
Captain Hunter is a particularly useful mod to pick up as makes short work of Elites, so it’s worth tracking down. It’s an Outriders Tier 3 armor mod and is one players will want to find and equip ASAP since pretty much every fight you’ll face will have an Elite to take down. Equipping this armor mod offers a 25% extra damage buff against those Elites.
If you just want the Outriders Captain Hunter mod and don’t need to keep the Gauntlets of the Cannonball, you will have to dismantle the legendary armor, after which you’ll get the Captain Hunter Tier 3 mod to use on different armor pieces. Selling and dismantling items is a useful practice in the game, so don’t be afraid to part with weapons, armor, and even legendary items if you don’t need them anymore.
