Rocket League Sideswipe is a follow-up to the popular automotive sports game. Of course, that has a lot of players excited. Problem is, Psyonix has only showcased the new game for iOS and Android mobile devices. Is it a smartphone and tablet exclusive? Here’s the lowdown on Rocket League Sideswipe PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC versions.
Are there Rocket League Sideswipe PS4 and PS5 versions?
Rocket League Sideswipe is a standalone title for mobile devices. PlayStation owners with a modern iPhone or Android can download and play the game for free. Currently, no dedicated Rocket League Sideswipe PS5 and PS4 ports have been announced.
Naturally, there’s no Rocket League Sideswipe PlayStation release date as a result. Although the game could transition in the future, it seems unlikely, as the dev team is specifically building this version of Rocket League for mobiles.
Are there Rocket League Sideswipe Xbox One and Series X|S versions?
Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S owners can download and play Rocket League Sideswipe for free on their mobile devices. At the time of writing, there are no known plans to announce a dedicated Rocket League Sideswipe Xbox release date.
Is a Rocket League Sideswipe Nintendo Switch version coming out?
Rocket League Sideswipe is a free-to-play Android and iOS mobile application. The game could transition well to Nintendo’s hybrid handheld console, owing to the system’s touch screen and portability. At the time of writing, however, there isn’t a Rocket League Sideswipe Nintendo Switch port release date.
Is a Rocket League Sideswipe PC version coming out?
Developer Psyonix is building Rocket League Sideswipe for phones and tablets. The game will be available to download, for free, to anyone with a modern iOS or Android device. As a result, there is no Rocket League Sideswipe PC version release date for fans of the franchise to mark on their calendars.
Epic Games’ Psyonix purchase could potentially birth an exclusive EGS PC version in the future, though. Stay tuned for any updates.
