Fortnite Challenges not working

Fortnite Challenges not working fix (2021)

Completing the rotating Challenges in Fortnite not only keeps the game fun and engaging, but it’s also one of the best ways to earn in-game rewards. Understandably, it’s been causing players a lot of frustration to find that Challenges aren’t working this year. Is there a Fortnite Challenges not working fix, though? Here’s the latest for everyone impacted on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.

Fortnite Challenges not working in 2021 fix

Fortnite Challenges not working

Players across all platforms have poured time and effort into completing the 2021 Fortnite Challenges, only to go unrewarded for it. In some instances, Challenges won’t progress and can’t be completed in Fortnite. Naturally, neither users nor developer Epic Games are happy with the situation.

Fortunately, Epic Games has now fixed the Fortnite Challenges bug to help start off 2021 right. Challenge progression will now track correctly and will not randomly reset. In order to claim the Fortnite Challenge rewards, users must complete their requirements again.

Players that completed Challenges while the glitch was active may see that the appropriate rewards have been granted in-game. This is a Fortnite visual glitch, however — users must redo the Challenge(s) to actually receive the rewards.

Although having to retread old ground and re-complete Fortnite Challenges might be frustrating, it could be worse. As retroactive unlocks seemingly weren’t possible here, the alternative would’ve been removing these Challenges completely.

Some users dedicate themselves to completing every single Fortnite Challenge and increasing their profile’s standing. Others like to seek out shortcuts, such as buying established accounts. It isn’t a great idea to purchase someone else’s Fortnite account in 2021, though.

A lot of players are more concerned with whether or not they can turn off skill-based matchmaking (SBMM) to make playing online easier.

There are also rumors swirling about a potential Michael Jackson Fortnite skin.
