The new ghost in Phasmophobia added in Update 3 is spooky, but also quite familiar. It is a crawling ghost that scampers across the ground, much like the girl in the popular film franchise, The Grudge. While she is quite low to the ground, players have managed to capture some photos of this new skin. The ghost model of the new Phasmophobia ghost has now been revealed, so take a look at her below.
Phasmophobia New Ghost | Who is the crawling ghost model in Update 3?
Some ghostbusters have been finding this new ghost model after Phasmophobia Update 3, sharing their experiences on Twitter, Reddit, and Steam. She appears quickly and tends to crawl around on the ground while shifting in and out of reality. Streamer WhatIfJulia managed to capture it and clipped the video for Twitter.

Like the other ghosts in the game, this is merely a skin for the existing ghost types. It can be any of the classes and it is up to players to deduce which one that is and defeat it using their weaknesses. This ghost oddly was not in the official roadmap for the game. It isn’t even in the official Phasmophobia Update 3patch notes over on Steam. Players have just been slowly finding it.
Phasmophobia New Ghost Photo | What does the crawling ghost look like?
There have not been any official photos of the new crawling ghost skin, but it is possible to see a bit of what the ghost looks like as it blinks into reality. She appears to have long dark hair and pale, corpse-like skin as she shifts across the ground. Given these traits, she is not unlike the main ghosts in The Grudge and The Ring, two popular horror films from 2004 and 2002, respectively. Both were iconic for their ghouls so it makes sense that Kinetic Games would be inspired by those designs.
