Genshin Impact - How to complete Lingering Malady quest

Genshin Impact | How to complete Lingering Malady

Reach far enough into Genshin Impact and you’ll eventually come across the Lingering Malady quest. Opening up at Adventure Rank 30, this quest requires you to find billboards and posters spread across the city of Mondstadt. Of course, these items aren’t exactly easy to find, being hidden in some rather clever places. Here’s where to find the hidden billboards and complete the Lingering Malady quest.

How to complete Lingering Malady in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact Lingering Malady billboard poster locations

The Lingering Malady quest in Genshin Impact requires you to find four items, two Merchant Billboards and two Merchant Posters. They’re hidden around Mondstadt, typically right out of view on the roofs of buildings. Collect all four and the quest will be complete.

Luckily, this shouldn’t be too much work. While Mondstadt is among the larger populated areas in the game, the city itself doesn’t have very many buildings. Every one of the items you need to find is either on a rooftop or tucked away on a high ledge, meaning you won’t have to search for very long.

Of course, if you’re reading this guide, you won’t have to search at all. Check the map image above for each specific location for billboards and posters.

  1. The first Merchant Poster is hidden on the rooftop adjacent to the Knights of Favonius building
  2. The second poster can be found the island’s southern side, on the roof adjacent to the blacksmith
  3. The first Merchant Billboard is located on top of the wall lining Mondstadt, on the northwestern side of the island
  4. The final billboard is on the roof of the central building near the alchemy lab

Once you’ve found all four, return to Aramis and speak with him to complete the Lingering Malady quest. In return for your efforts you’ll earn 100 Adventure EXP as well as Hero’s Wit, Mora, and some Northern Smoked Chicken.
