When is the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity release date? This brand-new game is set 100 years prior to the events of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and will show players what happened during the Second Great Calamity, but will you have to wait a long time to play it?
Nintendo and Koei Tecmo have announced a continuation of their partnership that first began with Hyrule Warriors on the Wii U. Players will be able to use gameplay in the style of Dynasty Warriors to fight the many enemies that threaten the land of Hyrule using Link, Zelda, and — for the first time ever — the four Champions.
Familiar elements from Breath of the Wild will be making an appearance, naturally — the Sheikah Stone will feature in this game, as will many of the enemies that you fight in Nintendo’s fantastic open-world RPG.
As for the story, this game is going to be set 100 years prior to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The events of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will show us what set the story of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in motion in a version of Hyrule that hasn’t quite been devastated by war and destruction. One question remains, however: when will you be able to play it?
