Marvel's Avengers roadmap

Marvel’s Avengers Roadmap | DLC 1 release date

What is the Marvel’s Avengers roadmap? The Avengers game apparently has post-launch support planned for years to come, but what content will be added? When is the Marvel’s Avengers DLC 1 release date? With so many lingering questions, here’s all the current info surrounding the Marvel’s Avengers DLC roadmap.

Marvel’s Avengers Roadmap | When does the first DLC release?

Marvel's Avengers roadmap

The first DLC on the Marvel’s Avengers roadmap is a new playable character — Hawkeye. At the time of writing, there is no Marvel’s Avengers Hawkeye release date to mark on your calendar.

Unfortunately, details surrounding the rest of the Marvel’s Avengers downloadable content are similarly scarce at this early stage. We do know that there are cosmetic microtransactions and that some of these, namely Marvel’s Avengers Legendary Outfits, will launch first on PlayStation platforms. Additionally, Spider-Man will be a PlayStation-exclusive character.

Although none of the following has been officially confirmed, there are also a number of leaked post-launch Marvel’s Avengers heroes. These are known thanks to a post from data miner u/RoboMatters on Reddit, which includes an excitable video showcasing the character names within the game’s code.

Leaked Marvel’s Avengers heroes list

  • Ant-Man
  • Black Panther
  • Captain Marvel
  • Doctor Strange
  • Falcon
  • Hulkbuster
  • Kate Bishop
  • Mar-Vell
  • Mockingbird
  • Quake
  • Scarlet Witch
  • She-Hulk
  • Vision
  • War Machine
  • Wasp
  • Winter Soldier

That’s a lot of potential characters; releasing them all would likely take Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics a lot of time, so this could comprise the Marvel’s Avengers roadmap moving forward.

Marvel’s Avengers DLC characters will all be free to download. They each have an associated $10 Battle Pass, however, which will add up to a whole lot more character-specific DLC over time.

We’ll keep you updated regarding any official updates on the Marvel’s Avengers roadmap moving forward. Until then, here’s when you can expect Marvel’s Avengers reviews to start being published.
