Of course, we also expect to see some official mods added in the future. Perhaps this is where the game’s marketplace will truly come to life, offering a variety of different expansions and other DLCs. These will likely be paid-for extras, expanding the game to include more aircraft and higher-quality areas of interest.
How to install mods in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020
- Find the mod you want to install.
- Download and extract the mod files.
- Read the “Readme” file for the instructions.
- Follow the instructions to install the mod.
To install mods in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, you’ll simply need to copy and paste the mod files into the specified folder. You will then overwrite the original content with the modded content.
We’d recommend making a backup of the original file, so you can quickly remove the mod.
You’ll find that most mods come with a “Readme” Notepad file included. These will give you specific instructions on what file to replace.
