Can you skip cutscenes in Ghost of Tsushima

No. You cannot skip cutscenes in Ghost of Tsushima. This means that you have to watch each cutscene you come across from start to finish before you can begin playing the game again. While most people will want to watch all the cutscenes (you’ll be missing important story details otherwise), not being able to skip them is not a good thing. If you’re looking to play through the game again, for example, you may wish to skip the cutscenes on your second time going through the game.

Not being able to skip cutscenes will artificially add time to a second playthrough of the game. You do not need to watch cutscenes a second time around, not unless you want to, anyway. Given how Ghost of Tsushima features two different endings as well as different difficulty options, a second playthrough of the game, at least, is encouraged. For everyone wishing to play through the game a second time, being able to skip its cutscenes will have been a welcome feature. If you have to re-watch cutscenes after dying, too, it is incredibly frustrating. Especially if it keeps happening to you.

Hopefully, Sucker Punch will add in a skip cutscenes feature to Ghost of Tsushima via an update. We can certainly appreciate, however, that the developer wants us to watch through everything the game has to offer. Despite this, the choice should probably be there regardless.
