Valorant Minimum and Recommended System Requirements

Gamers across the globe are buzzing over Riot Games’ new FPS title Valorant. As a competitive-minded game, Riot has made sure to keep the Valorant system requirements as low as possible. As far as can be told, the team has succeeded. If you’re wondering if your PC can run Riot’s latest, check out the Valorant minimum requirements and recommended specifications featured below.

Valorant | Minimum Requirements and Recommended System Specifications

One of the goals behind Valorant was to make sure most PC players could enjoy the game. As such, the minimum requirements are set very low. They’re so low, in fact, that even older laptops with integrated graphics should be able to hit around 30 frames-per-second performance.

Of course, when it comes to PC power, the sky is the limit. Even reasonably new gaming hardware should be able to run Riot’s new release around 100 frames per second or higher. Those with modern components should be able to run the game in excess of 300 fps or more, depending on the power of their processors.

Valorant Minimum Requirements (30 fps)

CPU: Intel i3-370M or equivalent

GPU: Intel HD 3000 1GB or equivalent

RAM: 4GB

OS: Windows 7/8/10 64-bit

Storage: 8GB free

Valorant Recommended Requirements (60 fps)

CPU: Intel i3-4150

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 730

RAM: 4GB

OS: Windows 7/8/10 64-bit

Storage: 8GB free

According to a Riot Games representative, the game is “CPU bound.” That means the biggest determination of performance is your processor’s single-thread rating. If you want to dive into the details, the team recommends finding your processor specs at websites such as CPUBenchmark.net.

By and large, most PC gamers will have no problem meeting the Valorant minimum requirements. Even older laptops from the last five to ten years should be able to run it around 30 frames per second. With that said, any reasonably modern gaming hardware should have no problem reaching 60 FPS performance. If you’ve got 8GB RAM and a dedicated GPU, you’ll likely be able to run the game at the highest settings.
