Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) owners are able to grab the latest update and start enjoying the new CoD battle royale mode right now. Will they be able to reap the benefits of Call of Duty: Warzone cross-progression, though? And will they, along with the free-to-play standalone crowd that doesn’t own Modern Warfare, be able to utilize Call of Duty: Warzone cross-save in order to carry progress between different platforms?
Find out everything you need to know about where your saved data can be accessed in this guide on Modern Warfare‘s new Warzone update.
Does Call of Duty: Warzone have cross-save?
If you intend to play Call of Duty: Warzone on multiple platforms — that’s any combination of PC, PS4, and Xbox One — then it’s possible to take advantage of cross-save support.

By logging into the same Activision/Call of Duty account on different platforms, you can share all the progress you’ve made between them. This means that you don’t lose any unlocks when you switch from playing on PC with a mouse and keyboard to kickin’ it on the couch with the Xbox One and/or PlayStation 4 versions of Warzone.
Does Call of Duty: Warzone have cross-progression?
CoD: Warzone also features cross-progression, occasionally referred to as “unified progression,” which sees anything you’ve unlocked in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (like weapons and Operators) carry over into Warzone. The same is also true of progress made within Call of Duty: Warzone carrying back over to Modern Warfare, which could be a real motivator in having free-to-play Warzone players invest in the premium MW package.
Cross-progression also works between platforms, again, provided that you’re using the same Activision/Call of Duty account on all of them. This means you could make some solid progress in Warzone on PC, then boot up Modern Warfare on PS4 and reap the rewards for your efforts.
