Are there Yakuza Remastered Collection PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions?

The Yakuza Remastered Collection is set to release on PS4 tomorrow — Tuesday, February 11, 2020 — and present players with a great value proposition by bundling remastered versions of Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, and Yakuza 5 for one reasonable price. That’s a lot of bang for your buck, but can eager players on other platforms get in on the action? In this guide, we’ll cover what you need to know about whether or not there are Yakuza Remastered Collection PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions on the way.

Similar to PC, there’s currently been no official confirmation that a Yakuza Remastered Collection Xbox One version is in the works. Late last year during Microsoft’s X019 fan event, however, it was confirmed that the Yakuza series would be making its Xbox debut at some point during “early 2020.”

The only games confirmed for release at this point are Yakuza 0Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2. With the Yakuza Remastered Collection featuring the next three games in the series, it’d definitely make a lot of sense for it to hit Xbox in the future. Only will tell, though.

Unfortunately for fans of Nintendo’s hybrid handheld, a Yakuza Remastered Collection Nintendo Switch version looks least likely of all. There are no Yakuza games out or currently planned to launch on the platform, plus Yakuza Producer Toshihiro Nagoshi told IGN Japan last year that Yakuza games weren’t in consideration for Switch. It’s possible that plans could have changed since then, however.
