Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville‘s Valentine’s Day event has only just gotten underway, but that hasn’t stopped EA and PopCap from announcing their plans for next month. In March, the PvZ: Battle for Neighborville Luck o’ the Zombie Festival will kick-off and bring plenty of exciting new rewards to the game.
First and foremost among these is most definitely the Wizard Zombie, the first new character to be added to this zany third-person shooter post-launch. So, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day Battle for Neighborville event.
PvZ: Battle for Neighborville Luck o’ the Zombie Festival start and end dates
With the Luck o’ the Zombie Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville Festival still being at least a month away, the game’s development team hasn’t yet shared a more specific release window than “March.” We do know, however, that the preceding Valenbrainz Festival event is scheduled to end on March 1.

Presumably, the St. Patrick’s Day celebration will be implemented sooner rather than later thereafter, in order to offer players as close to the full month as possible to fill out March’s Prize Map with Prize Bulbs earned in-game.
New PvZ: Battle for Neighborville Luck o’ the Zombie Festival content
As is customary for all Battle for Neighborville Festivals, the Giddy Park hub area will be appropriately adorned in green garb throughout in celebration of good ole St. Paddy’s Day.
That’s not all, though:
PvZ: Battle for Neighborville Wizard Zombie
If you reach the end of March’s Luck o’ the Zombie Festival Prize Map, you’ll unlock a kooky new character that uses magic spells to combat pesky plants. This is an exclusive early unlock, as anybody that doesn’t earn the Wizard Zombie in this fashion will need to wait and purchase him in April for 500,000 in-game coins.
PvZ: Battle for Neighborville Luck o’ the Zombie Festival cosmetic items
If the Luck o’ the Zombie Festival is anything like those that came before it, you’ll be able to earn plenty of cosmetics as you work your way towards completing the Prize Map and earning the Wizard Zombie.
In the trailer debuting the event, however, a focus is placed on the items that’ll be purchasable from Rux in Giddy Park. New skins are shown for Citron, Wizard Zombie, Night Cap, Kernel Corn, and All-Star.
