Even though Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a lengthy game, some of you out there have already completed its story, or you’re coming close to finishing it, at least. This means, of course, that there are many of you wondering what kind of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot endgame content there is. Wonder no more. In this guide, we’ll let you in on all of the DBZ: Kakarot post-game content. It should go without saying, but MAJOR SPOILERS lie ahead.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Endgame Content | What to do post-credits
You’ll be hard-pressed to find as many games with as much content as Dragon Ball Z Kakarot if the amount of endgame content is anything to go on top of an already stuffed story. Below, we’ll let you in on everything you can expect to unlock upon completing the main story of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. This includes secret bosses, new Sub Stories, new Villainous Enemies, and more. There’s a whole lot of game here.

New Villainous Enemies
Upon completing the game you should unlock a bunch of new Villainous Enemies to fight. It’s safe to say, too, that any Villainous Enemies you left behind as they were too strong at the time should be weak enough to beat after you finish the game. You can spend as long as you like traveling around, defeating all the Villainous Enemies in the game. Doing so should unlock the most exciting of the endgame content, too.
Secret Bosses
Once you have completed the game and defeated all of the Villainous Enemies scattered throughout the various areas, you should unlock a couple of secret boss fights. We don’t want to spoil who you’ll be fighting, however. We’ve also got a full guide on the secret bosses in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, if you’d like to learn more about the best part of the post-credits content.
New Playable Character
After completing the game, you should be able to unlock Future Trunks as a playable character. Head on over to Capsule Corp. in West City after you complete the game. There, you should see Bulma and Trunks standing beside Trunks’ time machine. A small cutscene should play as you get close to them. At the end of the cutscene, you’ll be able to play as Future Trunks. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, it appears as though his time machine does nothing still.
Learn all Super Attacks and Mastery Skills
You should unlock new training modules upon completing the game. Head over to any training spot on the map (you’ll need some D Medals spare) to learn the new Super Attacks. Go and speak to Android 21 (Female Researcher) inside the Capsule Corporation building to complete all of the Training Room fights and learn all the Mastery Skills (powerful Know-How skills).
Travel Freely Anywhere
It seems as though you will unlock every area to explore freely upon completing Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. This means that you can head on back to Planet Namek, the Land of the Kais, and King Kai’s Planet. This is essential if you plan on completing the Turtle School Training Manuals and the Z Encyclopedia as well as earning as many Orbs and D Medals as you can find.
New Sub Stories
One of the main features of the Dragon Ball Z Kakarot endgame content is new Sub Stories. You should unlock a whole host of new Sub Stories to complete after the credits roll. Look out for all of those blue exclamation marks on your map screens.
Goten and Trunks Go Super Saiyan
Finally, it seems as though both Trunks and Goten will be able to go Super Saiyan after you complete the game. Head into the Skill Tree of both support characters to unlock check it out.
