Production company TMS Entertainment has revealed information about the new season, including when and where it will air. The official Fruits Basket Twitter account announced the second season’s release window today. According to the account, Fruits Basket Season 2 is set to air sometime in spring 2020. According to reporting by Crunchyroll, Fruits Basket Season 2 will air on TV Tokyo and its affiliate channels, and the second season will include the same voice cast the reboot’s first season. The reboot’s first season contained 25 episodes, but it is unknown how many will be in the second season. Additionally, no information has been revealed about a potential English-language release. The first season is available on Funimation, Crunchyroll, and Hulu with English subtitles, however, so the second season will likely come to some (if not all) of those streaming sites.
