Fortnite Kylo Ren Skin | How to get Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker character

J.J. Abrams and Geoff Kayleigh appeared live inside Epic Games’ Fortnite this past weekend, launching a Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Fortnite crossover event that fans have been speculating about and clamoring for. Amongst several in-game additions themed around George Lucas’ iconic far, far away galaxy is the Fortnite Kylo Ren skin. If you’d like to be the bad guy, or perhaps just sport a virtual Adam Driver barrel chest, you’re in the right place to find out how.

Players assembled at Risky Reels in-game for a look at the latest Fortnite crossover event, getting treated to a show featuring the Millenium Falcon and an exclusive clip from the upcoming movie where Rey uses a Jedi mind trick to bypass some Stormtroopers. Perhaps the main event, though, was the addition of lightsaber weapons and a variety of character skins like Finn and Rey.

While those skins were made available right away, @HYPEX was able to uncover a Kylo Ren skin that hadn’t yet been added to the game. The prolific Fortnite leaker took to Twitter in order to show off a detailed character model for the Supreme Leader of the First Order, minus his cape, though apparently that will be featured.

After being unofficially leaked, Fortnite developer Epic made Kylo Ren’s inclusion official by teasing the character at the end of a trailer. He still hasn’t made his way into the game, though with the new movie out on December 19, the Kylo Ren skin should be scheduled to drop any time now.

Like the other Fortnite Star Wars skins, it’s very likely Kylo Ren will be a premium purchase. This means that you’ll need to spend real money on V-Bucks and purchase the skin from the in-game Item Shop once it enters the rotation.
