Fortnite 2.49 Update Patch Notes (11.30.1)

The Fortnite 2.49 update patch notes (11.30.1) have now been published by developer Epic Games. This new Fortnite patch is now rolling out across PCPS4, and Xbox One. It’s a relatively small patch, coming in at 368.3 MB on PS4. This should mean that the download and installation won’t keep you from playing for too long. Changes implemented by the December 15 patch include stability fixes to make the gameplay experience more enjoyable for players. Read on for the full list of patch notes.

The new Fortnite update isn’t as exciting as the one that came before. Update 2.48 implemented new features like splitscreen mode on consoles, the ability to preview what’s in the Item Shop from a mobile device, an increase to the daily Item Shop gifting limit from 3 to 5, and lots more.

The Fortnite 2.49 update isn’t the only exciting thing that’s happened to the game this weekend, as the Fortnite x Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker event was also hosted. Those attending the in-game event got to see an exclusive clip, as well as the opportunity to be the first to wield in-game lightsabers. (These lightsabers can now be found in-game.)
