How to play Modern Warfare Survival | PS4
If you own Modern Warfare on PlayStation 4 and you’re looking to play Survival mode, all you need to do is follow these simple steps:
- Boot up Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on PS4
- From the main menu, select “Spec Ops”
- Navigate to the “Mode” option on the “Play” tab
- Ensure that it’s set to “Survival”
- Hit “Map” to choose a Survival location (optional)
- Select “Start Match” to begin playing Survival

Should you be playing the latest entry in Activision and Infinity Ward’s popular FPS series on PC via Battle.net or on Xbox One, then we’ve got some unfortunate news. Survival is a PS4 exclusive mode right now and will continue to be for quite some time to come.
When is Survival coming to Modern Warfare on PC and Xbox One? Currently, it’s set to arrive on October 1st, 2020. That’s still a long way off; by the time Modern Warfare Survival mode does release for PC and Xbox One, it will have spent almost an entire year as a PS4 exclusive.
