EA and Respawn Entertainment waste no time in introducing one of the main Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order antagonists to players. The Second Sister hunts what few Jedi remain for the Empire, following Emperor Palpatine’s enactment of Order 66 in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. She utilizes force powers and a darksaber to effectively counteract Jedi, as players will learn during their first and second boss encounters with her. This has led many to ask: Can you beat the Second Sister in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order? Well, we’ve got you covered.
Can you win the Second Sister prologue encounter in Jedi: Fallen Order?
The very first boss that players face in Jedi: Fallen Order is the Second Sister, but it’s very unlikely that they’ll be adequately prepared for the challenging encounter after playing only the prologue. Due to this, it’s expected that players will fail and Cal’s loss is worked into the narrative. What if there’s a real pro at the controls or a seasoned veteran replays the battle after completing the game, though?

While you won’t be struck down by the Second Sister in this situation, the encounter does still end with protagonist Cal Kestis’ retreat after a certain amount of her health has been diminished. In the context of the story, Cal’s a young Jedi Padawan without many of his powers, so it wouldn’t make sense for him to defeat the imposing Second Sister at this early stage.
Can you win the Second Sister Zeffo encounter in Fallen Order?
Players will tangle with the Second Sister for a penultimate time when returning to Zeffo. This time around, however, defeat will result in failure and you’ll need to attempt the boss fight again until you can overcome it. There’s still no outright winning, though; depleting a certain portion of the Second Sister’s available health will end the battle and she’ll live to fight for a third and final time.
