CS:GO Shattered Web | How to change Agent skins

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive just saw the new Operation Shattered Web update which introduced custom Agents. CS:GO Agent skins are sure to be the next hot in-game commodity, and players can use any of their unlocked Agents in any game mode they choose. Confused about how the process works? Here’s how to change Agent skins in CS:GO.

Given that Agents or skins are a new addition to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, it’s likely that some players won’t know how to choose a new Agent. Fortunately, the process isn’t so different than selecting a new weapon skin. Assuming you’ve already unlocked or purchased a new Agent skin, here’s how the process works:

  1. Open Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
  2. From the main menu, tap the Inventory icon.
  3. From the Inventory menu, click on Loadout.
  4. Navigate to the Agents menu tab.
  5. Select either Terrorist or Counter-Terrorist, then locate the available Agent skins on the right side of the screen.
  6. Click an Agent of your choice, then choose either Replace for T or Replace for CT.

Of course, these options won’t be available if players haven’t yet unlocked any new Agents. Fortunately, this is easy enough: Simply complete challenges during Operation Shattered Web, and Agents will be granted at pre-set intervals. Distinguished Agents unlock at 28 Stars, Exceptional Agents unlock at 52, Superior Agents unlock at 76, and Master Agents unlock at 89. Alternatively, players can use real-world cash to buy the Stars needed for unlocks, or simply purchase the Agent skins through the Steam Community Market.

Alongside the Operation Shattered Web update, CS:GO players will find a few new options when it comes to showing off their new Agent character skins. The biggest change is that the main menu character loadout can be customized without heading into the Inventory. Instead, simply look for the settings button beneath the character on the main screen, then choose between the equipped T or CT Agent, or choose to display any weapon from your inventory.
