The CTR Nitro Fueled Golden Egg locations will show up in the adventure mode. However, it’s not always easy to find them nor is it easy to figure out how to get them. You’ll need these eggs if you want to figure out how to unlock King Chicken in CTR. In order to unlock that goofy racer, here are all the Crash Team Racing Golden Egg locations. Keep in mind that you should use a taller character like Dingodile for this challenge.
Crash Team Racing Golden Egg Locations | N. Sanity Beach egg
Look at the above picture to find the Golden Egg. It is a bit off the ground. Switch to a taller character like Dingodile or Tiny and go off the bank in the sand by the ocean. Use that bank to get a little speed boost and jump off the sand like a ramp. If you use a smaller character, you may need to get a bunch of extra speed first. But if you do use a taller character, you won’t have to get as much speed to get enough air to reach the egg. In fact, you may not even need to use the ramp if you powerslide boost enough beforehand.
Crash Team Racing Golden Egg Locations | The Lost Ruins egg
This one is very easy. Go to the place on the map in the above picture and just get a little bit of speed by powerslide boosting to jump off the ramp and grab the egg.
Crash Team Racing Golden Egg Locations | Glacier Park egg
This one is also a little simple. You’ll see it near one of the tunnels to another chapter. Get some speed by powerslide boosting and go down the bridge toward the egg. If you time your jump correctly off the bridge with enough speed, you’ll nail this egg.
Crash Team Racing Golden Egg Locations | Citadel City egg
This Citadel City egg is the easiest. In fact, it was so easy that you can maybe accidentally grab it before you can get a picture of it. Regardless, just go off the ramp in front of the green save computer and jump to the right. You’ll probably fall right on it.
Crash Team Racing Golden Egg Locations | Gem Stone Valley egg
This one can be tricky. Go to the place on the map and you’ll see it on the winner’s circle. You don’t even much speed for this one if you have good timing. Again, pick a taller character like Dingodile and just use the ramp opposite the egg on the winner’s circle to get some speed then time your hop just after at the point in the above picture. You’ll want to jump about where the line from the top of the winner’s circle meets the ramp.

Now go to the southern part of the map in The Lost Ruins like you see in the picture and you’ll see a chicken shrine. It will unlock from there and give you a weird, feathered racer.
