Where is the Haunted Forest in Destiny 2_ _ Festival of the Lost activity location

Where is the Haunted Forest in Destiny 2? | Festival of the Lost activity location

The Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost Halloween event is here. It brought its fair share of treats in the form of all the Festival of the Lost Eververse items, but the Destiny 2 event also has a few tricks in store for the festive Guardians. The main draw of Festival of the Lost is collecting Candy and Chocolate Strange Coins in order to unlock spooky masks and the Braytech Werewolf auto rifle. In order to earn these collectibles, you’ll need to enter the Haunted Forest. But like a lot of things in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, getting there isn’t necessarily intuitive. This guide is for everyone out there wondering: Where is the Haunted Forest in Destiny 2?

How to access the Haunted Forest in Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost

Once you first arrive in the Tower during the festival and speak to Eva Levante in the middle of the Tower Courtyard, you’ll receive a quest that requires you to purchase a Masquerader’s Helmet from her. Once you’ve done this, you’ll be told to go to the Haunted Forest. To access the Haunted Forest, head to open up your Directory map. The Haunted Forest icon is located in the middle. The Haunted Forest can only be accessed while wearing the Masquerader’s Helmet, so be sure to equip it before you try to head out.

Additionally, there is a holographic totem near Eva that Bungie has said will allow you to access the Haunted Forest, as well, but when we approached it, there was no prompt to enter the activity. Perhaps this is a glitch, but it’s also possible it will only work after you’ve been to the forest at least once.

Participating in the Haunted Forest and completing Festival of the Lost bounties (picked up from Eva) will earn you Chocolate Strange Coins and Candy. Chocolate Strange Coins can be used to purchase the Festival of the Lost masks from Eva, while Candy can be used to buy the Braytech Werewolf. Additionally, there are two weekly challenges associated with the Haunted Forest: One requires you to defeat 25 Terror enemies in exchange for a Tier 3 Powerful Gear reward, and one requires you to complete nine branches of the Forest in one run, which will earn you a piece of Pinnacle gear.
