See, you guys, Leslie Knope matters. Sims love parks, downright adore them. Better yet, parks have an AoE effect: Any residential and commerical buildings within the effective region of the park increases their land value and seductively creates medium- and high-wealth communities in your city. Better yet, everyone is always happy from having a park in the area, including tourists and teenagers who now have a place to convert their criminal angst into happy playtime, but don't get too hasty. Having too many parks can lead to a high operational cost quickly, so choose them wisely.
