Fire Emblem: Three Houses Promo Gift

Fire Emblem: Three Houses Promo Gift | How to unlock Hero Byleth: Tested Professor

With the launch of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Nintendo is offering those who play the Fire Emblem Heroes mobile game a free gift. In order to cash in on the Fire Emblem: Three Houses promo gift for Fire Emblem Heroes, you’ll need to have purchased Fire Emblem: Three Houses. This might sound a bit confusing, and that’s because it is. Basically, you will earn a free Hero in Fire Emblem Heroes if you have purchased Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Let’s take a look at how to unlock Hero Byleth: Tested Professor for free.

How to redeem the Fire Emblem: Three Houses promo gift

Unlocking the free promo gift won’t be too hard as long as you follow a couple of simple steps. The first thing that you will need to do is make sure that you’re using the same Nintendo Account on the mobile game as you are on the Switch. So, to redeem the reward, you will need to link your Switch account with your mobile account. Additionally, if you bought the game through a Nintendo Game Voucher, you’ll need to be playing on the account that was used to purchase the game. With me so far?

Essentially, you’re going to need to make sure that whichever account you used to purchase Fire Emblem: Three Houses is the one that is linked to your mobile game. If you bought a physical copy, you’ll need to make sure that the main Switch account is linked to the mobile game. However, there will be more on this later.

Once you’ve got that sorted, you’ll want to double check that your Nintendo Account (the one used to purchase Fire Emblem: Three Heroes) is linked with your Fire Emblem Heroes account. To check the email linked to your Nintendo Switch, go to the main menu and open the User Page, and from there select User Settings, then Check Nintendo Account Settings. From there you can either link your Nintendo Account or see which account is linked. Once you do that, you’ll need to cross check the info with your Fire Emblem Heroes account.

To do that open up the app and click on the menu found on the bottom of the screen. From there, tap Miscellaneous and then go to Account Management. You should see the email that is linked to your Nintendo Account displayed on the screen. If you see “Create/Link a Nintendo Account” on the screen, you’ll need to follow the in game steps to linking your account before you proceed. If you see that your email is already linked, then you’re good to go!

If you purchased it physically, you’ll need to put the game in your Switch and then open up the Options screen by pressing the + button.
