Super Mario Maker 2 is filled with a bunch of fun Mario themed levels from developers as well as players. One of the levels is known as the Buried Stone level and tasks players with helping Yellow Toad. While this level is technically a one-star difficulty, it can be a little bit confusing and could benefit from a little bit of an explanation. Completing the Super Mario Maker 2 Buried Stones level won’t be hard though once you know what you’re doing! Let’s take a look at how to complete the Buried Stones level.
Super Mario Maker 2 Buried Stones | How to complete the Buried Stones level
To complete this level, you’ll need to find a special block that Yoshi will need to eat. Go through the door to begin the level and as soon as you come out of the other side, you should see a row of yellow blocks above you. If you look to the right of those yellow blocks, you’ll see a stone that is tinted blue. This is the stone that you’ll need to eat with Yoshi, but first, you need to get a Yoshi.
Note: There is a mushroom in the middle yellow box if you want some extra help!
Keep going right and you’ll eventually come across a green pipe dropping Yoshi eggs. Go over to the egg and wait for Yoshi to appear and then hop on. Now, head back to the left where the blue tinted stone is and use Yoshi to eat it. Now, you can continue going right to the end of the level.
Make sure Yoshi holds the block in his mouth the whole time. Eventually, you’ll come across three musical notes that work similarly to a trampoline. There will also be three flying Dry Bones throwing bones at you. It’ll be easiest to spit out the block onto the musical notes and then eat the enemies with Yoshi.
After you take care of them, hop on the musical notes and get on top of the stone, which should be bouncing up and down. Once on the stone, wait for it to reach its peak and then you can jump off and that will be enough to boost you onto the yellow ledge above you. You can then hop down the right side and complete the Super Mario Maker 2 Buried Stones level!
