Some people may already know the Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled CTR Token locations if they have played the PS1 original. However, that was almost two full decades ago and it would help to have an updated guide on where they are in Beenox’s remaster. The CTR Tokens do look prettier but they are still going to be in some familiar places. So here is how to complete the Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled CTR Challenges.
Remember to grab all three tokens in the same race while finishing in first. You may need some help getting in first while making these detours so here’s a list of all the shortcuts we could find. And also keep in mind that almost every single one of these requires a good, well-timed jump and some speed so be sure to use the powerslide boost effectively. A heavy character like Dingodile, Tiny, Crush, or Papu Papu usually works well. If you’re still missing CTR Tokens, you probably still need to do each world’s Crystal collecting mission.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled CTR Token Locations | Crash Cove
- C Token: This is the last one and it’s right off the big pirate ship you can drive up near the end of the track.
- T Token: Make the shortcut jump in the big pond and instead of going off and continuing the race, turn to your right. You will see the letter on the bridge in the direction of the pirate ship.
- R Token: It’s right around the first rock right off the finish line. Just go to the right of the first big rock.

- C Token: This token is off one of the first jumps to your left.
- T Token: This one is in the shortcut part of the track to the left of the giant skeleton near the end of the track.
- R Token: The R token is also easy to find. Just do a quick hop around 17 seconds into the race as the track begins to slope down.

- C Token: This token is at the part where the fireballs are coming out of the ground after a few speed pad ramps. It is on the right hand side of the second ramp. Just go to that side and make the jump.
- T Token: It’s near the end of the track to the left of the last set of Mystery Boxes.
- R Token: This one is right off the first turtles on the right.

- C Token: This one is hard to miss. It’s in the middle of the one of the bigger speed ramp jumps.
- T Token: This token is off the first split in the track. Go down the right path and use the speed pads to jump to the right, lower side of the track.
- R Token: Race normally without taking the shortcut and you’ll see this token on the higher ground on the left side just after the T Token and just before the first rolling barrel.

- C Token: Go left right off the starting line and you’ll see it just behind the item boxes.
- T Token: It is one the far right side just outside the tunnel.
- R Token: This one is one the far left side of the track after a lone Wumpa Fruit but right before some item boxes. It’s in the grass off the road.

- C Token: Take the big ramp with the Wumpa Fruit box right after the T Token. It’s on the right side in the air and be sure to get enough speed.
- T Token: It’s in the grass to the left of the first ramp near the start of the track.
- R Token: Go the shortcut with a weapon ready. Shoot it at the temple wall and go through the shortcut. It’s in the air right after where the shortcut goes back into the normal track.

- C Token: Take the first shortcut near the broken wall after the Piranha Plants. It’s on that lone island you use to hop across.
- T Token: With that momentum, jump off that lone island and to the small path to the left. Keep continuing down this part of the shortcut and jump at the end to get the T Token.
- R Token: This is in the last bend of the track before the big dip to the finish line. Slow down as it is on the far right side of the track before your start to descend. If you go too fast, you’ll speed past it.

- C Token: Right off the starting line, look to your right near the item boxes. You’ll see it just off the track.
- T Token: When the road splits, take the right path. When it joins back up again, stop and look behind you. It’s just right where the road fuses in the dirt.
- R Token: The R Token is on the last jump. Just be sure to hang pretty far right to get it. You’ll probably fall but that’s fine.

- C Token: This is on the far right side of the track on the ice sheet just before the finish line.
- T Token: This is off the first jump near the big yellow sign. Just jump off the far right side of the cliff.
- R Token: Continue normally without using shortcuts and you’ll see the R Token right before you use the speed pad to speed through the little house bridge thing.

- C Token: This is hard to miss. It’s right on the left inner edge of the track where it meets the water near the first big puddle.
- T Token: This one kind of sucks because you have to go redo part of the track to get it. Go through the swirly part of the track after the first minecart. Then when you get to the top of the swirly part, look to your right. Drop down to get it and you’ll start at the bottom of the swirly part.
- R Token: This last token is right behind the item boxes after the swirly part. It’s behind the second box from the left right in front of a pole.

- C Token: This one is pretty easy to see. After a fair bit into the track, you’ll see this one on the right side near a patch of mud.
- T Token: This one is right above the first mud pit somewhat near the start of the arena. Just be sure to get enough to get it.
- R Token: This one is on a jump near the final stretch. Just be sure to get enough air and to be on the right side of the track.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled CTR Token Locations | Polar Pass
- C Token: This one is right near the fork in the road near the “For Sale” sign. It’s right in the center but you can snag it without crashing if you get the right angle.
- T Token: Get this one off the final jump off the frozen waterfall. It’s on the right side of jump so favor that side.
- R Token: This one is near the little speed pad islands. On the second one with the Wumpa Fruit box, be sure to veer off to the right as you jump to get it.

- C Token: You’ll come to a section with a hard right turn and easily see the C Token in plain sight. It’s just over the gap in the corner of the turn. Just be sure to hop.
- T Token: This token is on the huge jump after you enter the area with the blue stained glass. Hug the right side of the speed pad ramp and get enough speed and jump at the right time to get this one. It’s tricky so try to get it on each lap and don’t save it for the end.
- R Token: This is off the first speed pad ramp. Just be sure to jump off the right side of the ramp and you’ll catch it in the air.

- C Token: This is right off a speed pad ramp just before you see the wall with the yellow arrows that are outline in red that are pointing to the right. Hug the left side of the speed pad ramp and jump at the right time to snag this one.
- T Token: After the bit with the big barrels and the ramps up, you’ll drop down to a section with big squares cut out of the floor. You’ll see this one floating in the first square to the right. You might fall in while trying to get it.
- R Token: This one is right after the C Token in the middle of the speed pad ramp in the air. It’s hard to miss.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled CTR Token Locations | Hot Air Skyway
- C Token: This is on the inside corner just before the big jump with the shortcut. It’s right after some item boxes and right before a speed pad.
- T Token: Hug the right side of the last big ramp at the last big jump by the huge blimp right before the end of the track. You’ll see the T Token floating off on the right side. You might fall trying to get but that is fine.
- R Token: Take the shortcut with the visible split path by hitting the big ramp by hugging the right side of the big ramp. You will have to make a good jump to get it.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled CTR Token Locations | Oxide Station
- C Token: This one is hard to miss. It’s off the first speed pad jump right in the center of the circular tunnel. It’s in the air so be sure to jump off the speed pad ramp.
- T Token: You’ll reach an area that goes into the vacuum of space and the sound will muffle. This is the ramp that you need to hug the center on as the T Token is in the center of this jump right before you land. It also comes up fast and is quite hard to see so be quick.
- R Token: Just after the T Token, you’ll come across a big speed boost ramp. Make a big jump and hug the center once again. It also comes up fast and is quite hard to see so be quick.
