Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Fast Travel

Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Fast Travel | Is there Fast Travel?

Bloodstained Ritual of the Night is out now, and it’s the spiritual successor to the Castlevania games from series producer Koji Igarashi. It boasts a huge Metroidvania world to explore, with ancient castles, creaky galleons, and burning villages, and you’ll have to go back and forth throughout the locations quite a lot. It would be helpful to know, then, if there’s some sort of Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Fast Travel system. Is there Fast Travel? And if so, how do you use it? We’ll show you.

Is there Fast Travel in Bloodstained Ritual of the Night?

Considering the size of the Bloodstained world and that retracing your steps is a crucial part of the Metroidvania style, it would be really annoying if there wasn’t a Fast Travel system, especially as you have to return to the village of Arvantville in order to access the various stores, quest givers, and crafting. Fortunately there is a Fast Travel system in Bloodstained, and it all revolves around a special stained glass window…

How to find and use Fast Travel in Bloodstained Ritual of the Night

The most important thing to realize is that you cannot Fast Travel from save rooms in Bloodstained. Save rooms and Fast Travel rooms are completely separate: on the map, red rooms are Saving, green rooms are Fast Travel. As you leave the safe area in Arvantville, go to the room just above that safe area, so right, up a floor, left. You’ll find the first Fast Travel room here, with a stained glass window of a piper.

You’ll find the second Fast Travel room a fair bit into the castle, after you’ve met the coachman and doubled-back on yourself on a higher floor, back into the upper part of the Entrance area. Simply use the window by pressing Up, then select the green Fast Travel room you want to go to. Confirm and you’ll go there immediately! Once you unlock more you can travel around the world at will. Get hunting.
