After releasing for other consoles just a few weeks ago, Dauntless is heading to the Nintendo Switch. The Dauntless Switch release date is just around the corner, and the game was even playable on the E3 2019 showroom floor. So, when is Dauntless coming to the Nintendo Switch?
Dauntless Switch Release Date | When is Dauntless coming to the Nintendo Switch?
During the Nintendo E3 2019 Direct, the gaming giant announced that Dauntless would be getting a Switch port later this year. The Dauntless Switch release date is currently planned for the later parts of 2019. While the developers haven’t provide fans with an exact launch date, it has at least been confirmed that the Dauntless Switch release date will be sometime this year. This means that Dauntless will now be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and the Nintendo Switch.
In addition to the Dauntless Switch release date, it was also announced that Dauntless Switch would be playable on the E3 2019 show floor. So, if you’re at E3 2019, make sure to check it out if you’re interested! If you missed the opportunity while the exposition was still running, you at least shouldn’t have to wait too much longer to try it, as the game has already been presented in playable form.
In addition to the Dauntless Switch port, the game’s developers also shared that Dauntless had reached 10 million players across all of its existing platforms. This is a pretty impressive feat, considering Dauntless released less than a month ago on May 21, 2019. In the course of just three weeks, the team at Phoenix Labs managed to rack up a frankly astonishing number of players.
Dauntless launched as the first game to offer cross-platform play across the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC at launch. This is a huge accomplishment for any game studio, but especially for a smaller studio! The future certainly looks very bright for Dauntless and Phoenix Labs.
