Apex Legends Octane Jump Pad Sound Bug | Noise glitch

Apex Legends Octane Jump Pad Sound Bug

As you can guess, the Apex Legends Octane jump pad sound bug occurs when players use Octane’s ability that produced a launch pad. It’s usually used to reach higher places or bop around enemies to make you a much harder target to hit.

Like other Apex Legends sound issues, however, people have found that the jump pad sound is glitched. If you jump off one, the jumping sound will continue to play in your headphones or through your speakers. It’s stuck on a continuous loop and it’s causing huge problems for the player base.

Threads like this one have popped up on the game’s Reddit page as people try to inform Respawn and EA about it and attempt to find a way to resolve the issue.

Apex Legends Octane Jump Pad Sound Bug | Is there a fix?

Apex Legends Octane Jump Pad Sound Bug

No, there is no Apex Legends Octane jump pad sound bug fix that can sort out this issue. That’s not to say that won’t be forthcoming though. Respawn have heard players’ pleas to sort it out and explained that they are looking into the issue in this known issues thread.

If it’s like any other repeating sound issues that the game has had, it shouldn’t take too long to patch through a fix. Hopefully, the issue will be resolved in time for Season 2, which is due to launch very soon. Respawn will talk more about Season 2 during the EA Play event at E3 this weekend, so keep an eye out on our site for more.
