Fortbyte 6 | Use the Yay emote at an ice cream shop in the desert location

Today was a big day for Fortnite, with a new event and a new patch being released. Not every day is like this! One thing has remained consistent, however: A new Fortbyte had been unlocked. Fortbyte 6 is accessible by using the Yay emote at an ice cream shop in the desert. This is quite vague, to say the least, and doesn’t offer much insight to the location of Fortbyte 6. However, there’s no need to worry: We’ve got the exact ice cream shop in the desert location to help you find Fortbyte 6!

Fortbyte 6 is only available if you have unlocked the Yay emote in the Season 9 Battle Pass. The Yay emote is unlocked at Battle Pass Tier 14, so if you’ve made it that far, you’re good to go! If you haven’t paid attention to Fortnite Season 9, then you likely haven’t unlocked the Yay emote yet. However, it is relatively easy to get to Tier 14, and our Week 2 challenge cheat sheet is sure to help!

Now that you’ve got the Yay emote settled, you’ll need to find the ice cream shop in the desert location. This is going to lead us to the desert region (obviously) close to the race track on the right side of the map. The ice cream shop is an unmarked location, but it is not too hard to see since it is a fairly large building. Its exact location can be seen on the map below.

As you get close, you should see the neon lights of the ice cream shop appear. As you’re flying towards the ice cream shop location, it will look like the picture below.

Once you’ve landed, head inside and you’ll see Fortbyte 6. Simply use the Yay emote and it will unlock, search it and you’ll be good to go!
