Apex Legends The Silver Storm

Apex Legends The Silver Storm | How to unlock silver gun weapon skin

Battle Pass players are getting hyped about the Apex Legends The Silver Storm weapon skin. This is one of the highest possible rewards that players can achieve in Season 1 of Apex Legends. Not only is this a Legendary Skin — it’s a Legendary Skin with a reactive effect. This means that doing something during a match will get the skin to change. Pretty cool, huh? Of course, before you’re able to enjoy the skin yourself, you’ll first have to know how to unlock The Silver Storm in Apex Legends.

Apex Legends The Silver Storm

Unlocking The Silver Storm skin for yourself is a pretty straightforward process: you need to simply reach Level 100 of the Battle Pass in Season 1. Well, it’s simple conceptually. Actually making it to Level 100 will require a good bit of grinding (or spending money) on your part. Still, the skin is pretty cool to see in action to it may very well be worth the wait! And it’s not like the rewards from those other 99 levels aren’t worth it, either.

So, how does the Apex Legends The Silver Storm weapon skin work? After you’ve grinded 100 levels and equipped it, this special skin for the Havoc Rifle is pretty easy to understand. The Silver Storm is a Legendary Skin with Reactive Effects; this means that you have to do something in-game in order to get the effects to kick off. In the case of The Silver Storm, you have to get a certain number of kills. Here are the milestones you need to hit:

  • Level 1: 1 Kill
  • Level 2: 3 kills
  • Level 3: 5 kills

Bear in mind that this is not overall kills — this is kills with the Havoc rifle. You can get 20 kills with your other weapon and it won’t matter for squat in terms of The Silver Storm effect being activated.

The Silver Storm has a pretty cool effect, but this is also the first time that we’re seeing something like this in Apex Legends. The potential of other Reactive Effects is positively mind-boggling and I can’t wait to see what Respawn comes up with. The future of the game’s Legendary skins just got a little more promising.
