It’s all here in the Gran Turismo Sport 1.34 update patch notes.

New cars

We really shouldn’t take the fact we get free cars from Polyphony Digital every single month, but here we are. There’s five in the 1.34 update, each one spanning different eras and styles of racing: The headline act may very well be the ’95 McLaren F1, but there’s also a Mazda Eunos Roadster, SLR McLaren ’09, Pagani Huayra ’13, and the latest of the lot, a Toyota GR Supra RZ ’19. They’ll all be available to race around with in-game after downloading the Gran Turismo Sport 1.34 update.

Autopolis

So, I said free cars were good but, heck, a brand-new track most months is incredible. This month, we’re treated to the Autopolis racetrack in Japan, the host of Super GT and Super Formula races in recent years. It’s a layout that fuses high-octane speed and straights with a more technical section filled with twists and turns later in the track; it should prove to be a fan-favorite, especially as there’s a “Shortcut” variant.

GT League Events

What’s a new Gran Turismo Sport update without a few packaged-together GT League events to keep you ticking over? Rounds 6 and 7 of the Mazda Roadster Cup, Premium Sports Lounge, All Japan GT Car Championships, and Gr. 3 Endurance Series have all been added.

Bug fixes

You’ll be able to pore over the fixes in granular detail in just a moment but most will be pleased by this highlight: That annoying bug that kicks you back to the Race Entry Selection screen when trying to find a race? Yep, that’s been fixed. Praise be to the racing gods!
