While it’s not the trickiest fetch quest in the game, finding all 300 White Crabs in Kingdom Hearts 3 to help upgrade your ship in Port Royal can be a pain in the barnacles. But there’s a way to get to the KH 3 Crabs location(s) fast. Avast, ye mateys! Here’s how to quickly find 300 Crabs in the Pirates of the Caribbean world so you can be on your merry way.
Where to find all 300 Kingdom Hearts 3 White Crabs in Port Royal
In a way, this reminds of a really goofy Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater goal, just without the time. Or the skateboard. Still, same thing. Especially as we can take one especially quick line from 0 crabs to 300 crabs in Port Royal in no time.
Head off the docks and immediately turn left towards the beach hut.
Hit the suspicious moving barrel a handful of times to net yourself 13 crabs. We’re nearly there. Promise. The building at the end of this street (the one with the ladder) contains a crate with another 5 crabs, taking your total to 18 white crabs.
Now cut across the ocean to the settlement you can see just across the water.
Grind (see, THPS all over again!) the telegraph rail above the docks for 10 crabs.
Head back to where you started grinding on the telegraph wire and you’ll see the roof of the building next to you littered with a handful of crabs.
On the roof below, there’s another moving barrel. Hit that, as well as the clockface for a few crabs. Jump off the roof onto the box marked with an X below, too, for a mammoth 30 crabs.
Follow the shore around and hit these palm trees wildly with your Keyblade to capture a few more crabs.
Next, Trinity Sled your way onto the bridge (triangle/Y when prompted) and follow the path all the way around to the fort, making sure you run over (poor things) the white crabs on the way so you can collect them.
Keep going, ensuring you knock into every barrel on the way round so you can maximize the amount of white crabs you pick up in a short space of time. You’ll eventually arrive at the Fort steps, requiring roughly another 120 White Crabs to proceed.
Sure, you can hit random boxes in the fort to get to 300, but there’s a quicker way. Make your way to the open clearing shown below at the top of the fort.
Defeat the enemies while simultaneously destroying the bundle of barrels in the middle of the area to go well north of the 300 white crabs mark
Defeat the swinging Heartless pirate if you wish and make your way back to where you started in Port Royal to hand in your 300 white crabs and upgrade your ship. Job done!
