How to start Shadow Heritage DLC in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

There’s actually a couple of things you need to do to ensure you can play the Shadow Heritage DLC. First things first, is you need to have purchased the Season Pass or individual episode from your platform’s respective storefront.

From there, you must also, as UbiMatcha points out on the Assassin’s Creed forums have reached the main story mission “The Reunion” in Chapter 7. You should also be at least level 28 to proceed. You can start the Shadow Heritage DLC pretty simply: head to Achaia and find the quest marker for Stranger Tides to begin.

However, it still might not pop for some. If you’re having trouble, pause the game and head to the game’s in-menu storefront. From there, click “Add-ons” and then scroll along to Shadow Heritage. You can manually install the DLC from here by clicking on it and installing. The download should then begin. Once that’s done, exit the game and restart and head to Achaia.
