Just Cause 4 Pre-Order Bonus Content Glitch – Is There a Fix?

Just Cause 4 fans are not happy ahead of release day. A Just Cause 4 pre-order bonus content glitch is preventing some players from downloading their exclusive items as part of their early access to the game. With the title due to be fully released on December 4, you would expect a Just Cause 4 pre-order bonus content glitch fix to be on the way, right?

Just Cause 4 Pre-Order Bonus Content Glitch – What is the Problem?

Fans have complained that they cannot access their pre-order bonus items despite having early access to the game. The problem appears to be more systemic on Xbox One, but a few gamers have also reported issues on PS4 and PC as well.

Players who pre-ordered the title were supposed to be rewarded with in-game items as a way of thanks for buying the game ahead of time. These bonuses included a neon-colored supercar, parachute, and wingsuit for physical copies, and a deathstalker scorpion pack for those who bought the game digitally. This latter pack was apparently set to give players an exclusive muscle car, wingsuit, parachute, assault buggy, and explosive rifle, but these aren’t available to download either.

Just Cause 4 Pre-Order Bonus Content Glitch – Is There a Fix?

At the time of writing, there’s been no official word from developer Avalanche Studios nor publisher Square Enix about a potential fix for this. Players on Reddit have claimed that it’s a known issue, especially on Xbox One, but neither party has yet come out and offered a plan on how to resolve this.

There are murmurings online that there is an update available to download that allows you to access this bonus content, but these are unsubstantiated right now. It may be best to wait until Just Cause 4 receives its expected day one patch on December 4, and hope that a solution is part of this patch to grant you access to your pre-order items.
