Darksiders 3 Abyssal Armor – How to Get it

Darksiders 3 is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Players around the world are tackling Fury’s quest to destroy the seven deadly sins and many of you are wondering exactly where you can get hold of the Darksiders 3 Abyssal Armor. Read on to find out exactly you can kit Fury out in the Abyssal Armor, exactly what it is, and what it does.

Darksiders 3 Abyssal Armor – What is it?

The Darksiders series may change in its approach in terms of gameplay to some extent between releases, but there is at least one thing that remains a constant throughout. The Abyssal Armor appeared in both Darksiders and Darksiders 2. In those games, it was a set of armor you could find scattered across the map. Collecting each piece of the set would not only give War and Death a whole new look, but also some benefits to boot.

In the original Darksiders, the Abyssal Armor increased War’s defense stats and awards you with some health every time you land a hit on an enemy. In Darksiders 2, meanwhile, the Abyssal Armor set will increase Death’s arcane, critical hits, defense, and strength stats. It doesn’t, however, improve Death’s resistance stats at all.

The Abyssal Armor is returning to Darksiders 3, but with details thin on the ground, we have to only assume that, as in the original two games, it will be the best armor set in the game. We’ll update this post with new information as it becomes available.

Darksiders 3 Abyssal Armor – How to Get

While we could get hold of the Abyssal Armor in the original two Darksiders games, unfortunately, it is behind a paywall in Darksiders 3. It has been confirmed that the only way we’ll be able to get our hands on the Abyssal Armor in Darksiders 3 is by buying and completing the upcoming Keepers of the Void DLC. As of writing, neither THQ Nordic or Gunfire Games has revealed the release date of the Keepers of the Void DLC.
