By solving the Ainigmata Ostraka in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, you can find small caches of helpful items. If you’ve been exploring Megaris, you’ve likely run into the Happy Hour riddle, which is one of the tougher ones to solve. Below we’ll show you how to find the AC Odyssey Happy Hour Ainigmata Ostraka and how to solve it.
How to Find and Solve the Happy Hour Puzzle in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Megaris is one of the first places you’ll visit after leaving Kephallonia. If you’re thorough in your explorations, you’ll likely come upon the Happy Hour Ainigmata Ostraka. The tablet is located in the Occupied Forest of Tripodiskos. To find it you need to find the Battlefield Cave in the east of that region.
Once you enter the cave, dive into the pool and then hang a left till you run into a room. In the room is a chest and you’ll find the Happy Hour Ainigamata Ostraka tablet above it.
The Happy Hour riddle reads:
“It’s dangerous outside, so I’m waiting out the war. The only time I go outside this cave is to replenish my cup. Once I leave, I travel Northwest from the battlefield in the Occupied Forest of Tripodiskos. Find me at the altar of offerings at the feet of the wine god himself!”
The key to solving this Ainigmata Ostraka riddle is the reference to the wine god and the direction northwest. If you exit the Battlefield Cave and head to the northwest you’ll cross into the Kithairon Foothills. Here you’ll find a statue of Dionysus which is more than likely being guarded by some cultists. Once you kill them you can check the base of the statue to find the treasure stash the riddle was pointing to.
For finding the stash, you get an engraving that adds one-second burning duration. Not too shabby for about ten minutes of work.
