Yakuza Kiwami 2 1.04 Update: What’s Changed and What are the Kiwami 2 Fun Packs?

A new Yakuza Kiwami 2 1.04 update has just landed, bringing with it the final addition to the Kiwami 2 fun packs. Fancy some new costumes and outlandish get-ups? You’re in luck. The Yakuza series has never been one to take itself too seriously and now you can have even more fun with Kiryu-chan and company. Here’s what’s in the new update.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 1.04 Update: What’s Changed?

The new update is a minimal one, with a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it download size of under 100 MB. While there has been no bug fixes, nor any other changes, cosmetic or otherwise in Yakuza Kiwami 2, the 1.04 update marks the appearance of the fourth and final fun pack dished out by the developers to make things… let’s just say: a little more interesting. Often coming with a collection of weaponry and minigame items, Yakuza Kiwami 2 fun pack 4 is no different.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 1.04 Update: Kiwami 2 Fun Packs

To collect all four fun packs, you’re going to need to head into the back room at Aoi or from Serena in Kamurocho. There, you’ll find a loosely-tied package waiting for you. One that includes rocket launchers and golden suits. Because of course.

Fun pack 1:

  • Rainbow Bun
  • Wataru Kurahashi SR card
  • Cabaret Manager (outfit)

Fun pack 2:

  • Majima Construction President’s Award x 300
  • Jiro Kiwara SR card
  • Pajamas (outfit)

Fun pack 3:

  • Cursed Tonfa
  • Thunder Dagger
  • Majima Construction Employee SR card
  • Majima Construction Helmet (outfit)

Fun pack 4:

  • Rocket Launcher
  • Illegally Modded Police Baton
  • Golden Suit (outfit)

That’s right. There’s a Golden Suit for Kiryu now. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to wear any of the four outfits on offer until you’ve unlocked Premium Adventure mode. After that, you can change costume at any time from your hideout. Other than that, there’s no limitations: any and all items can be used as soon as you pick them up, though, be warned, Aoi isn’t available until Chapter 4: The Four Kings of Omi.
