Dragon Quest 11: How to Make Money

As in every Dragon Quest game, making money is essential to your success. Each new town will have shiny new equipment waiting for you. Sometimes, however, it will cost more than you can afford. Want that new sword, a suit of armor, and shield? You’d better start saving up. Thankfully, there are plenty of ways to make some quick dosh in Dragon Quest 11. You’ll earn Gold for every enemy defeated, selling equipment and items, and sometimes, earn a right stack for selling the correct items.

While there are enemies that will drop a large amount of Gold upon defeating them, the easiest way to earn Gold is by selling a particular item. Drasilian Shillings are your way forward here. If you keep your eye out for shiny spots on the world’s floor, you’re bound to collect some of these expensive commodities. Finding and selling these items will quickly earn you a lot of coins.

As mentioned above, defeating certain monsters will net you with a lot of Gold, too. In Gyldenhal (of Sniflheim) you will find plenty of gold monsters. Defeating these will quickly fill your purse with more gold than you’ll know what to do with.
