Fortnite Music Tracks: How to Unlock Music Tracks in Fortnite

Wondering how to unlock music tracks in Fortnite could become a very popular question if Epic Games decides to implement a leaked new feature in the way we imagine. It looks as if you’ll soon be able to change music tracks in Fortnite at the touch of a button. Modders made a tool for that very same purpose a little while ago, but a new leak suggests Epic Games could implement an official solution very soon.

Depending on how you like to play your games, you may or may not have noticed that Fortnite music typically changes with each season. If you tend to replace the music with your own, you probably don’t care, but if you’ve clicked this link we can at least assume you’re interested in bringing back the game’s original soundtrack or going back to something like the Season 3 soundtrack.

Fortnite Music Tracks: How to Unlock Music Tracks in Fortnite

Popular Fortnite leaker FNBRLeaks recently spotted a new folder tucked away in the game’s files. Simply tagged as “MusicPacks”, it’s enough to suggest that customizable music packs could be on their way very soon.

Large-scale multiplayer games have taken steps to implement more customizable sounds in recent years with games like StarCraft 2 and DotA 2 both opting to have not only in-game characters, but outside personalities lend their voices for special “Announcer Packs”.

While Fortnite doesn’t include any announcers that could be switched with paid-for or unlocked packs, Epic Games could at least implement switchable music tracks for those looking to alter what they hear in what is a fairly repetitive game. We won’t know how to unlock music tracks in Fortnite until the feature is properly implemented, but there’s every chance both old and new music could come in as Battle Pass rewards or tracks purchasable with V-Bucks.

Nobody likes listening to the same thing for weeks until the next season comes along, and Music Packs could be the change this. Switching back to original Fortnite music looks set to get much easier than installing sketchy mods.
