Fortnite 4.3 Content Update

Fortnite 4.3 Content Update Detailed: New Bouncer Item and More

The Fortnite 4.3 Content Update is now live, adding new items and features to both the Battle Royale and Save the World components. This content drop follows the Fortnite 4.3 patch which launched last week. Though it’s a relatively small content drop, Battle Royale players should be happy to get their hands on the new Bouncer trap, while Save the World fans will have two new Heroes to take control of.

Fortnite 4.3 Content Update Patch Notes

The Fortnite Bouncer is the main new addition to Battle Royale. This item gives players an extra bounce boost, launching them into the air. The Bouncer trap is a Rare drop, and is found in stacks of three inside Treasure Chests, Supply Drops, Supply Llamas, and as floor loot. It can be placed both on floors and walls, and provides a jump boost upward or in a direction.

Those who have played Save the World may already have experienced traps similar to the Bouncer. However, now the cheeky bounce pad can be used against real players, which will no doubt make for some crazy and intense moments.

Fortnite 4.3 Content Update

Save the World players get some new Heroes, with both Diecast Jonesy and Chromium Ramirez making their debut. These can be unlocked in the Event Store at the following time:

  • Diecast Jonesy
    • New Commando Hero
    • Available in the Event Store Wed, June 6 at 8pm ET.
  • Chromium Ramirez
    • New Commando Hero
    • Available in the Event Store Wed, June 6 at 8pm ET.

It remains to be seen how these new features will affect gameplay, but as they are available right now, we won’t have to wait long to see how they change the meta. I’m sure we’ll see some incredible feats achieved by the community, especially when using the Bouncer to launch enemies into other traps. Stay on your toes!
