The Fortnite community has been led to believe that Tilted Towers is set to be replaced, possibly with the use of a comet, but also potentially by a re-imagined Fortnite Soaring Skyscrapers location. Either way, there seems to be a lot of hate out there for the incredibly popular Tilted Towers location, which is the main landing zone for many.
What Is Fortnite Soaring Skyscrapers?
The idea of a Fortnite Soaring Skyscrapers location replacing Tilted Towers appears to originate from YouTuber MACMACS, who created a video entitled: “NEW ‘Soaring Skyscrapers’ is replacing ‘Tilted Towers’ says Epic!” Despite the title claiming that Epic Games has confirmed that Tilted Towers would be replaced, no official announcement has been made. MACMACS seems to have fabricated this story, as the actual video content contains merely speculation.
It’s a tad unclear whether MACMACS believes the developers should be adding a new game mode, which would be “a whole new city of skyscrapers” where “everybody has to land,” or a new location, that would replace Tilted Towers. As I say, this is all just speculation, fueled by misleading information that is totally baseless.
Fortnite Soaring Skyscrapers: Will the Fortnite Soaring Skyscrapers Replace Tilted Towers?
As explained above, Fortnite Soaring Skyscrapers hasn’t actually been confirmed by Epic Games. It’s just as likely that “Misleading Mineshafts” or “Clickbait Canyon” will be replacing Tilted Towers. However, even the replacement of Tilted Towers hasn’t yet been confirmed. It’s all just speculation and rumors at this point, despite sometimes being labeled as “official.”
While Epic Games hasn’t yet said anything about removing or replacing Tilted Towers, there is still the possibility of it being tweaked. Players do gravitate towards the location, and its placement directly in the center of the map makes it an almost guaranteed safe zone for the initial circle.
