Fortnite Comet: What Is It, Where Can I See It, When Is It Hitting

It’s the end of the world as we know it? A Fortnite comet looks to be on the way. Don’t take my word for it: look up into the sky and you’ll see a certain ominous blue outline floating towards you. But where can you see the Fortnite comet and what does it mean for the future of Fortnite? Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite comet.

Fortnite Comet: What is it?

While the Fortnite comet has been around since the latest update, it’s only recently come to prominence. This is thanks to a Reddit post by Niccorazi which shows, without avoidance of doubt, a Fortnite comet lingering above the map.

Fortnite Comet: Where Can I See It?

To take a glimpse of the Fortnite comet, it’s just as simple as looking up. No, seriously. However, if you want to grab a better peek at the spacefaring object, the Fortnite comet can be best seen from Tilted Towers or near wherever telescopes are gathered.

However, there’s also the added benefit of the mountain peak challenge. Want to get closer to the Fortnite comet? Scaling those mountains may be your best bet.

Fortnite Comet: When Is It Hitting?

This one is still up in the air. Common logic would dictate that the Fortnite comet will herald the beginning of Fortnite season 4. As it stands, Fortnite season 3 is scheduled to end on April 30. The only way we’re going to know for sure is if the comet gets bigger/closer between now and then.

There’s also the scant possibility that it’s an April Fool’s Joke but 1) It should’ve started on April 1 if that were the case and 2) Epic would be letting down a lot of fans in that instance.

While fan speculation seems to indicate that Tilted Towers will bear the brunt of the Fortnite comet, it’s unclear what changes (if any) it will have to the world map. One thing is for certain, however: that comet is coming – and it’s coming soon.
