Fortnite Dark Voyager Skin: How to Unlock it in the Fortnite Season 3 Battle Pass

The Fortnite Dark Voyager skin has got tongues wagging in the game’s community, with the swanky new outfit being high on the list and obtainable only through the Season 3 Battle Pass.

With many YouTube Fortnite players now showing off the skin, players are inevitably searching for how to get their hands on it. Here’s how you can do it:

How to Unlock the Fortnite Dark Voyager Skin

In order to unlock the Fortnite Dark Voyager skin, you’ll first have to purchase the Fortnite season 3 Battle Pass. This will set you back 950 V-Bucks (you can purchase 1,000 for $9.99), which will grant you the ability to unlock new tiers of rewards the more you play.

After unlocking the season 3 Battle Pass, you will have access to 100 tiers of goodies (an increase over season 2’s 70). These tiers are unlocked the more you play, with Epic Games estimating that it will take players between 70 – 150 hours to unlock everything. Each tier has its own specific reward(s), with the higher tears boasting the most desirable rewards.

The Dark Voyager skin, which is part of the Space Explorers set, is locked behind tier 70. This means that it’ll take a considerable amount of grinding to reach it unless players fork over some cash.

How to Buy Fortnite Dark Voyager Skin

Individual tiers can be purchased for 150 V-Bucks each, with the priciest V-Bucks pack netting you 13,500 for $99.99. This would allow you to purchase 90 tiers, though mixing the V-Bucks bundles can get you to tier 70 for slightly cheaper.

Here’s the Fortnite V-Bucks pricing for reference:

  • 1,000 V-Bucks: $9.99
  • 2,500 V-Bucks (+300 Bonus): $24.99
  • 6,000 V-Bucks (+1,500 Bonus): $59.99
  • 10,000 V-Bucks (+3,500 Bonus): $99.99

The Dark Voyager skin has become the most sought-after costume in the game, even surpassing the Reaper (otherwise known as the John Wick) skin.
