If you want to save your game in Kingdom Come: Deliverance manually, you’re going to have to keep a steady supply of Saviour Schnapps. There are a few ways to get Saviour Schnapps, you can buy it from a trader, innkeeper, or alchemist, or you can craft it yourself at an Alchemy Table. While you can avoid actually having to brew it yourself for a while, you’ll eventually want to start making your own stock. Below we’ll tell you how to craft Saviour Schnapps in Kingdom Come by using an Alchemy Table, what ingredients you need, and where to find or buy them.
How to Craft Saviour Schnapps in Kingdom Come: Deliverance by Using an Alchemy Table
So, you’re tired of dropping 100+ Groschen every time you want to get a Saviour Schnapps in Kingdom Come? By crafting them, you can brew them for free (or a small fee if you decide to but the ingredients). Luckily, you start the game with the Saviour Schnapps recipe, though you aren’t able to read it at first. Regardless of Henry’s reading acumen, though, you can follow the guide below.
Saviour Schnapps Ingredients
To craft Saviour Schnapps you don’t need much. You’ll have to grab one Nettle and 2 Belladonna. You can do this one of two ways. You can either go gather the herbs yourself out in the world (Nettles are especially common) or if you don’t feel like doing the extra hunting around you can purchase the ingredients from an Herbalist or Alchemist.
Brewing Saviour Schnapps
The process to craft Saviour Schnapps isn’t too complicated in comparison to later potions you find. The recipe is sort of an introduction to the whole concept of alchemy, so as long as you pay a little attention, you shouldn’t mess it up.
- You need to pour wine into the cauldron.
- Grab two portions of Belladonna, grind them with the mortar and pestle, and put them in the small dish.
- Put one portion of Nettles in the cauldron.
- Pump the bellows six times to get the cauldron boiling.
- Let the cauldron boil for two turns of the hourglass.
- Put the ground Belladonna into the solution.
- Pull the bellows three more times.
- Let the mixture boil for one more turn of the hourglass.
- Grab a phial and drain the still boiling solution into it.
If you followed these steps, you should have produced your first Saviour Schnapps in Kingdom Come.
How to Buy Saviour Schnapps in Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Of course, if you don’t want to fool with alchemy, you can always purchase them. Usually, you’ll find them stocked by traders, innkeepers, and barmaids. Practically every settlement has at least one vendor for these, but they cost a lot more to straight purchase than to brew.
Usually, you can buy these for around 100 Groschen, and even with haggling, you’ll likely have to pay at least 80. This isn’t terrible as you’re starting out since there’s not as much danger. However, as you take on more and more important tasks, you’ll want to have these on you at all time.
