Shadow of the Colossus Agro Tricks List: All Agro Tricks and How to Do Them

As we mentioned, there are several unique Shadow of the Colossus Agro tricks that you can do with your horse. There are a total of eight Agro tricks that are there for show and to also assist in gameplay. Let’s get started with what all eight of them are and how to do them.

Shadow of the Colossus- Grasslands

180 Turn: This first Shadow of the Colossus Agro trick is great for traversing the land. It allows you to do an abrupt 180 degrees turn and go the opposite direction of where you’re going. You can accomplish this Agro trick by simply pulling down on the left thumbstick while pressing the X button twice at the exact same time.

Hill Jump: When you see a small hill or bump, you can ride Agro towards it and he will automatically jump over the edge of the hill.

Stand While Riding: This Shadow of the Colossus Agro trick is not only cool on its own but opens up other possible Agro tricks for you to do. By holding down R1 and triangle at the same time while riding your horse, you can stand up on top of him.

Jump Off: Following up on the last Shadow of the Colossus Agro trick, this one allows you to jump off of your horse, but it first requires you to be standing on top of him. While standing on him, press the X button to jump off mid-gallop.

Pet: We know you want to be able to pet your horse, and you can thankfully do that. When standing still by your horse, press the circle button to pet him. You can also press circle to pet while riding him, but you must not be moving.

Quick Stop: Similar to the 180 turn, you can immediately come to an abrupt stop anytime you are riding Agro. This can be accomplished by pressing down on the left thumbstick and pressing the X button (only once) at the same time.

Quick Start: To get a quick start while not moving on your horse, do the same as a quick stop. While not moving, press down on the left thumbstick and press the X button at the exact same time.

Riding on the Side: This is a pretty neat Shadow of the Colossus Agro trick and the most difficult to master. You can ride on the side of your horse by holding down R1 while pressing the triangle button (like you would to stand on top of him), then move the left thumbstick to either the left or right depending on which side you want to ride on the side of.
