Star Wars Battlefront 2 Heroes and Villains List: How Much it Costs to Unlock Everyone

The Star Wars Battlefront 2 hero list has expanded in size since the game made its way to EA Access last week, with all of the heroes and villains set to be included in its launch now being made available.

This list will inevitably expand once EA and DICE release DLC for the game, with both Captain Phasma and Finn set to make an appearance in a free December update around the release of The Last Jedi. But for now, here are the 14 heroes and villains you can play as in Star Wars Battlefront 2 at launch.

Battlefront 2 Hero List

  • Chewbacca – 10,000 Credits
  • Luke Skywalker – 15,000 Credits
  • Leia Organa – 10,000 Credits
  • Han Solo – Unlocked
  • Rey – Unlocked
  • Lando Calrissian – Unlocked
  • Yoda – Unlocked
  • Boba Fett – Unlocked
  • Bossk – Unlocked
  • Darth Vader – 15,000 Credits
  • Emperor Palpatine – 10,000 Credits
  • Kylo Ren – Unlocked
  • Darth Maul – Unlocked
  • Iden Versio – 5,000 Credits

Alongside these established heroes and villains, Battlefront 2 also has a number of special units you can play as. While they aren’t as powerful as the likes of Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader and friends, these troops pack a greater punch than the game’s standard soldiers and can still change the tide of battle in their own way.

We’ve also included a rundown of every available special trooper below:

  • Death Trooper
  • Wookiee Warrior
  • B2 Super Battle Droid
  • Frametrooper
  • Rocket Jumper
  • Rocket Trooper
  • Ket Trooper
  • B2-RP Rocket Droid
  • Rocket Trooper (Alternative)

Unlike DICE’s original Star Wars Battlefront, which saw players being able to play as a hero or villain by picking up a token located on the map, in Battlefront 2 players can gain access to heroes as they progress through a match by way of earning points. Additionally, certain heroes can only be unlocked after spending credits on them, with top-tier heroes such as Vader currently available for a costly 60,000 credits.
