The Early Access Month 4 Update for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has a lot of new features and items for players. Among them are two new first-person only game modes that players are enjoying.
To access these game modes, simply press Play on the top left, and then select either of the following:
- Solo FPP
- Duo FPP
Which you queue up for depends on whether you want to play alone or with a friend. Queueing up with more than two people total isn’t supported.
When you enter the game you will default to first-person view, and will be unable to switch to third-person.
This mode is considered much more fair from a gameplay perspective as players can’t hide behind cover while looking for enemies using the third-person camera. It is considered in Beta since Bluehole is still working on tweaking the mode to work smoothly.
