Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is Insomniac Games’ web-slinging sequel to the developer’s 2018 action-adventure title and its spin-off, Spider-Man: Miles Morales. This time around it follows both the OG Spider-Man Peter Parker and Miles as they take on new threats, all while Peter gets accustomed to his dangerous new symbiote suit. But is it coming out on PC?
Here’s all you need to know about whether or not Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released on PC.
Is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 coming to PC?
No, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is not currently confirmed to come out on PC. However, it is likely that it will eventually be released on the platform, given that Sony has released many PS5 console exclusives on the platform.
Sony has brought multiple previous PS5 exclusives to PC so far, including God of War, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and even Insomniac’s previous two Spider-Man games. This means that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 could eventually make its way to the PC platform after a long period of exclusivity on the current-gen PlayStation console.
Is there a Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC release date?
There is currently no Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC release date. However, given the time it has taken PS5 console exclusives to release on PC — Miles Morales initially launched on the PS5 in November 2020 before coming to Steam and the Epic Games Store in November 2022 — PC-owning Spidey fans could be waiting for at least two years for the game to launch, so October 2025.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is an action-adventure game in the vein of previous entries in the series, once again set in an open-world New York and featuring appearances from villains such as Venom, Kraven the Hunter, and the Lizard.
The game’s description reads:
“Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the next game in the critically acclaimed Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise. Developed by Insomniac Games in collaboration with PlayStation and Marvel Games.”
